Israel’s Labor party has voted in favour of joining the right-wing coalition led by Benyamin Netanyahu.

Fifty-eight per cent of Labor’s central committee members voted for the deal after Ehud Barak, the party leader, made an emotional plea. He said it was a patriotic duty to back the coalition deal.

But as Zeina Awad reports from Jerusalem, not everyone in the Labor movement was convinced.
