 Haitians unable to send money home 
 

Nearly 30 per cent of the economy of Haiti, the impoverished Carribean nation, is based on remittances from family members who have left for a better economic life.

But as the US economic crisis leaves many people without work, fewer Haitians are able to send money back home.
