 Gulf states fail to monitor Aids cases 
 

According to UN figures from the Middle East, up to 66,000 people are thought to have contracted HIV in the region in 2007 even as 25,000 others died from Aids related illnesses that year.

But international organisations say Arab Gulf states are failing to share information on Aids cases.
