There are new signs that the battle for control of Afghanistan is changing.
New groups are emerging to fight against the government of Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president.
Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr travelled to the province of Herat in western Afghanistan, where the former mayor is now a wanted man by the government for leading one of these groups.
