Martti Ahtisaari, Finland’s former president, has been awarded the Nobel peace prize.
In his acceptance speach in Norway, Ahtisaari, who received the award for decades of peace work around the world, called on Barack Obama, the US president-elect, to do more in order to bring peace to the Middle East.
