The oil price crash has been tough on oil-exporting countries, yet Saudi Arabia’s oil minister said Tuesday major producers will not cut their output. That suggests prices will stay low for a while, with ordinary citizens feeling the effects. Young Saudis are earning lower salaries, public services are scarcer than ever in Angola, and in the U.S., unemployed oil workers are struggling to pay their bills. At 1930 GMT Wednesday, The Stream answers community questions about how their local experience is linked to the global economy, and how countries are adjusting to the near end of oil.
