President Enrique Peña Nieto’s official portrait received a wave of online criticism after he shared the photo across his social media accounts. Photographed by Hector Armando Herrera Peralta, the portrait cost 376,420 Mexican pesos or roughly $29,500.
On March 4, Peña Nieto set his Facebook and Twitter profile pictures to his portrait.
