The Church of Kopimism was recently recognized by the state of Sweden. Traffic to the website has been so busy following the recognition that founders put up a temporary static page.

Kopimism can expect several online opponents to its mantra. The new SOPA bill gives the US government and corporations the ability to censor the net in the name of protecting intellectual property rights. The law would let the government or corporations censor any site “dedicated to copyright infringement.”
