Unsafe drivers draw online criticism in Sarajevo

Citizens in Sarajevo are taking to the web to draw attention to unsafe traffic conditions and hope the authorities take notice.

Using the Facebook group “Moj grad, moja sigurnost, moja odgovornost,” or “My city, my security, my responsibilities,” concerned citizens in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are uploading pictures of illegally parked cars and dangerous drivers.

The group’s goal is to convince authorities to take action and protect pedestrians. Activists say Sarajevo needs more legal parking spots and dangerous drivers must be punished.
