Tens of thousands of Israeli credit card numbers were leaked last Thursday by a hacker identifying himself as Saudi-based OxOmar. On Monday, several news sources reported that Israeli blogger Amir Fedida claimed to have discovered the hacker’s identity.
OxOmar responded by denying any connections to the man identified by Fedida and even went further to dare Israel’s intelligence agency to track him down. Israel’s deputy foreign minister compared OxOmar’s actions to “terrorism,” while Hamas praised it as “a new form of resistance.”
