Why, with all the new gadgets and technologies that should make our lives easier, faster and better are we still so busy? According to renowned futurist Alvin Toffler it is no wonder we are overwhelmed.
People today basically work three jobs – one for which they are paid, a second ‘unpaid’ job maintaining their home and family and, now, a third job. This third job includes all the services that companies have transferred to their customers, things like booking travel, banking online, tracking packages via the web and printing your own photographs.
On Monday, the international best-selling author of Future Shock, Alvin Toffler, joins us to discuss his latest work, co-authored with his wife, Heidi Toffler. Revolutionary Wealth is about how tomorrow’s wealth will be created and who will get it.
