The Struggle for Southern Syria

Israel has warned Syria to keep its army out of southern Damascus, and is ready to back that with force. Analyst says it’s about keeping Syria weak and divided, but some in Netanyahu’s government believe the land belongs to Israel and want to settle it permanently.
