ISIL has been confined to less than one square kilometre by Iraqi forces in Mosul's Old City. Government troops have been fighting to re-take the city from the armed group since October.

    Government troops have been fighting to re-take the city from the armed group since October.

    And with each small advance, extensive damage is being uncovered, to the city and its people.
