The UN Security Council has voted to sanction more North Koreans.

This was done considering their support of Pyongyang’s ballistic missile and nuclear warhead programme.

The unanimous vote follows North Korea's launch of 12 ballistic missiles this year which was in violation of its existing resolutions.

Al Jazeera’s Rosiland Jordan reports from the UN’s headquarters in New York.
