Israel has backed Saudi Arabia and several other Arab countries that have imposed land, sea and air blockades against Qatar in the region's biggest diplomatic crisis.

The rift was allegedly sparked by Qatar's support for groups that the other side opposes, including the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas which rules Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Arab states are now viewing Israel as a partner instead of an enemy.
