US military admits killing over 100 civilians in Mosul air strike

A US-led coalition air strike in Mosul, Iraq, killed more than 100 civilians in one day in March, the Pentagon has admitted.

    A US-led coalition air strike in Mosul, Iraq, killed more than 100 civilians in one day in March, the Pentagon has admitted.

    The US Central Command inquiry says the strike detonated explosives that ISIL fighters stored in the building, causing it to collapse.
