China seeks to revive Silk Road project

China is looking to revive the ancient Silk Road trading route that would connect Asia to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The “One Belt, One Road” initiative is the pet project of President Xi Jinping.

The plan will be discussed at a major international summit in Beijing this weekend.
