US prepares offensive on ISIL's de-facto capital

    Washington, DC - The US military says it has deployed a small number of forces in and around Manbij in northern Syria to prevent armed groups from attacking each other.

    The Pentagon says it wants them to stay focused on fighting ISIL as the US prepares an offensive on the group's self-declared capital, Raqqa.
