The man known as 'Carlos the Jackal' is to go on trial in France for an attack on a shopping centre 43 years ago. Ilich Ramirez Sanchez is already in jail for several killings, spanning decades.

    Ilich Ramirez Sanchez is already in jail for several killings, spanning decades.

    His wife, who is also his lawyer, says the case is politically motivated.
