Syria rebel factions make gains in Idlib

Two strategic bases captured by al-Nusra Front and other groups in attack, dealing a blow to Assad government forces.

    In Syria the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front and other rebel factions have captured two major bases in a coordinated attack near Idlib. It is an area where President Bashar al-Assad's regime is being pushed back.
