Syrian strikes target rebel bastion of Deraa

Activists say Assad forces have carried out more than 530 air attacks in two days, killing at least 16 people.

    At least 16 people have been killed in a government air strike in the rebel-controlled Syrian province of Deraa.

    Activists said the Syrian government has carried out more than 530 air attacks in two days.

    There has also been heavy figting between rebels and government forces in the city of Idlib.

    Al Jazeera's Osama Bin Javaid reports.
