Ambulances enter outskirts of town after being given an hour to recover dead and wounded killed in Israeli bombardment.

Ambulances and two Red Cross vehicles have entered the outskirts of Gaza's Khuzaa, near the southern city of Khan Younis, after the area came under heavy Israeli fire overnight.

A pause in the fighting was negotiated and medical teams were given one hour to go in to recover the dead and wounded.
