Syrian women break their silence on rape

Former prisoners recall horrors of their time in prisons where they say they were repeatedly raped.

    Human rights groups and opposition activists say Syrian women held in state prisons are being raped and tortured. 

    Many victims are too afraid to talk.

    Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr met some of the women, who now live in Turkey.
