Aleppo aid supply lines blocked by fighters

Syria’s rival sides are accused of blocking humanitarian channels they’ve agreed to secure for aid to reach refugees.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon says none of the warring parties in Syria are adhering to UN demands for aid access.

UN agencies say in Aleppo alone, at least one million people are now in need of urgent humanitarian assistance.

The international committee of the Red Cross has told Al Jazeera the challenge in the divided city is not just about getting government authorisation, but also that the roads are blocked by the fighting.

Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr reports from Antakya.
