Egypt demolishes homes along Gaza border

Army destroys homes along the border with Gaza strip to create security buffer zone.

    The Egyptian army has been destroying houses near the border with Gaza, in an effort to create a security buffer zone near the Rafah crossing.

    It is the latest attempt by Egypt to secure an area which Palestinians use to bring in food and goods.

    Al Jazeera's Hyder Abbasi reports.
