Syrian army continues advance into Yabroud

Soldiers seek to capture last rebel stronghold in Qalamoun, and with it, regain vital supply routes in western Syria.

    The Syrian army is advancing on the rebel-held town of Yabroud, in the strategic Qalamoun region.

    Fresh from victory in the nearby town of Nabek, the soldiers want to capture this last rebel stronghold, and with it, regain vital supply routes in western Syria.
