Iranian director bridging Iran-West divide

First Iranian director to win an Academy Award, Farhadi says his drama films serve as metaphor for East-West relations.

    Asghar Farhadi made history as the first Iranian director to win best foreign picture at the Academy Awards. This year, there is talk of another Oscar for his latest release.

    Many believe his films are bridging the divide between Iran and the West.
