Fighting stops Syrians from escaping

Gun battles between troops and rebels in Deraa prevent thousands of people from crossing the border into Jordan.

    Fewer Syrian refugees are able to cross into Jordan from Deraa because of heavy fighting between President Bashar al-Assad's army and rebels close to the border. But now, the refugees have now found a new route. 

    Al Jazeera's Nisreen El-Shamayleh reports from Al Ruweished, on the frontier between the two countries.
