Syrian rebels and al-Qaeda at loggerheads

Umbrella group urges Islamic State of Iraq and Levant to leave Homs in bid to halt infighting and boost unity.

    Tension is growing between al-Qaeda fighters and Syrian rebels. A group representing several rebel brigades demanded on Thursday that al-Qaeda leave the Homs area.

    This follows fighting between the two sides near Aleppo last week.
