Israel quietly treats wounded Syrians

At least 96 wounded Syrians have been treated in one of the Israeli hospitals in this year.

Israel and Syria may be technically at war, but Israel has been treating wounded Syrians inside its territory.

Wounded Syrians are admitted to a hospital in the northern city of Safed, 40km from Syrian territory, where 96 Syrians have been treated in 2013 .

While the Israeli army is tight-lipped about how the wounded are ferried to these hospitals, some say the attempt helps Israel gather intelligence on Syria.
