Rebels and military battle in Aleppo

Fighting in Syrian city seriously affects civilian lives, forcing many to move to countryside.

    Fighting in and around Aleppo between Syrian rebels and government forces has seriously affected residents' lives in the northern city.

    Homes have been destroyed forcing many Syrians to move to the countryside, which has also not escaped the violence.

    Syrian activists say there have been strikes on the Minakh military base, west of Aleppo, as well.

    Al Jazeera's Caroline Malone reports.
