Iran reformist candidate receives backing

Iran’s former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani has officially endorsed his moderate ally in Friday’s presidential election.

Rafsanjani says Hassan Rouhani is the most suitable candidate, but he faces five conservative opponents in the polls.
