Syrian cameraman 'shot by sniper'

One YouTube video appears to capture the moment the man behind camera is shot by a sniper.

A YouTube video from Syria, apparently capturing the moment a man behind the camera is shot by a sniper, has emerged.

The incident allegedly happened last Friday, when hundreds of thousands took to the streets across the country demanding Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's ouster.

Footage from Syria cannot be independently verified because journalists are denied access to scenes of anti-government protest rallies.

    Al Jazeera's Stephanie Dekker reports.
