Shopping mall opens in Gaza

Israeli blockade limits what goods are available in new air-conditioned centre.

    A brand-new air-conditioned shopping centre, offering 10 shops and a grocery store, has opened in the Gaza Strip.

    But while the mall has become a source of pride for many Gazans, its limited offerings are a testament to an economy stifled by an Israeli embargo.
