A new and improved cancer treatment being researched in Germany is showing positive signs.
The technique of using precise beams of high-energy particles to destroy cancer cells has been around for more than 20 years.
It has been limited to tumours that can be kept perfectly still, but scientists are now developing ways to treat moving tumors – like those in the heart or lungs.
