Kosovo cracks down on Syria volunteers

Police arrest more than 40 in effort to deter citizens from joining rebel groups in war-torn country.

    Kosovo has arrested more than 40 people in an effort to prevent them travelling to Syria to join rebel groups.

    The efforts, which the government says is to prevent terrorism, have the support of Muslim leaders and the relatives of those who have gone to fight in the country.

    Al Jazeera's Avni Ahmetaj reports from Pristina.
