Tensions boil in Ukraine's east

Eastern Ukrainian officials and government representatives meet for talks, but some separatist leaders were not present.

Officials from eastern Ukraine have strongly criticised the government in Kiev during talks between the two sides.

The meeting in the eastern city of Kharkiv was brokered by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

But the separatist leadership that controls Donetsk, Luhansk and Slovyansk did not participate.
