Afghan basketball team beats odds to aim high

Players currently in Italy for an international tournament have overcome war and disabilities.

    A team of athletes from Afghanistan is in Italy to take part in an international basketball competition.

    Getting there has been a major challenge for the players, many of whom had never left their war-torn country. 

    The players have overcome war and disabilities to find new purpose in life, while boosting the sport in their country.
