Locals from the separatist region of Moldova are pushing to join the Russian Federation.

    In the separatist region of Moldova bordering Ukraine, locals are holding out hope that they will be able to join the Russian Federation. 

    After Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to relax requirements needed to get a Russian passport many in Transnistria are eager to see what his next move will be.
