Information war rages inside Ukraine

Rumours and propaganda fly amid political upheaval following Crimea's decision to join Russia.

    An information war is being fought between Ukraine and Russia following Moscow's annexation of Crimea.

    The Ukraine government has shut down transmissions from Russian television channels as it attempts to block pro-Russian propaganda.

    But those in Ukraine who are against the interim government in Kiev say the media is failing to report on growing protests inside the country against the interim government.
