Thousands of UK homes under threat by floods

With no let up in rainfall and the River Thames at its highest level in years, much of the southern UK is flooded.

    Thousands of homes in the UK are under threat from flooding after the River Thames burst its banks.

    The river is now at its highest level in years and heavy rains show no sign of relenting.
