Police say armed man made off with jewels displayed at exhibition in French Riviera city.

    Jewels worth an estimated $50m have been stolen from a hotel in the south of France.

    Police say an armed man made off with the gems which were being displayed at an exhibition in the Riviera city of Cannes.
