Moscow film festival fosters local talent

Annual event kicks off amid new line of funding for filmmakers, as Brad Pitt swoops in to attend red-carpet premiere.

    The 35th edition of the Moscow International Film Festival started with Brad Pitt walking the red carpet, and amid hopes that a fresh round of funds for domestic filmmakers will help boost the industry.
