Cannes film festival begins rolling

Actors, directors and film industry bigwigs flock to attend the 66th film festival in French city.

    The 66th Cannes film festival is now under way, giving independent movie-makers and Hollyood stars alike the chance to shine.

    Twenty films from all over the world are competing for this year's coveted Palm D'Or.

    Celebrated Hollywood director Steven Spielberg is sitting at the head of the jury which will decide on the winner.
