Parliamentary vote presents toughest challenge to President Mikhail Saakashvili's government since he took office.

    Final preparations are underway in Georgia for parliamentary elections.

    More than five hundred international observers will be there to monitor the polls on Monday.

    President Mikhail Saakahsvili is in a fight to retain his grip on power given the high rates of poverty and unemployment.
