Uninspired French set to boycott election

Poll says 30 per cent of voters, especially young people, will not take part in presidential election.

    As France prepares to hold presidential elections on Sunday, it appears that many people, especially the young, feel alienated from the electoral process.

    One poll suggests that 30 per cent of the electorate may not participate in the vote, including many who say they no longer trust their leaders.
