Suspicious package found in a suitcase due to be loaded on to a flight for Germany.


    A suspicious package found in a suitcase due to be loaded on to a flight for Germany has been destroyed in a controlled explosion in Namibia.

    The incident took place just hours after Germany raised its alert level in response to threats. The case was found at Windhoek airport, among luggage that was to be put on a Berlin Air flight to Munich.
