Istanbul's heritage under threat

Ancient Turkish city faces being placed on Unesco's "endangered" list.

Unesco, the cultural agency of the United Nations, is scheduled to meet this week to consider new additions to its World Heritage list, which includes some of the world's most historically valuable sites.

But Unesco also has the task of warning countries if their historic sites are in jeopardy.
