Maldivians suffer from water shortage

Water becomes most precious commodity on island nation as repairs continue in its only desalination plant.

    Male, the capital of the Maldives, might have no running water for at least another week. Repairs are still going on at the only desalination plant after a fire broke out, and drinking supplies are becoming very precious.
