Environmentalists fear Kazakhstan Olympic bid

Kazakhstan hopes to host Winter Games in 2022, but activists believe the Games would endanger the environment.

The International Olympic Committee will meet on Monday to decide the shortlist for the 2022 Winter Games.

Oslo, Beijing and Kazakhstan's Almaty remain in the running.

Kazakhstan has the money to go ahead, but some critics say playing host may come at a high cost to the environment.
